Our psychiatry staff is committed to providing comprehensive mental health treatment to our patients since 2011. We stay up to date and educated on the most cutting edge treatment options in the psychiatric field while keeping your treatment goals our first priority.
Dr. Bhasin has always wanted to be a physician. She chose to be a psychiatrist due to the intriguing and challenging modality of psychiatry. For example, there are no two patients that are exactly alike, even though they may carry the same diagnosis. Dr. Bhasin also wanted to make a difference in children’s lives with emotional disturbances and to help families cope with mental illness and stigma. Upon moving to this area, she took a few months off and worked part time with a teenage sex offender program. During this time, she noticed the lack of mental health resources in our community, and opened her own independent practice on a part-time basis in January of 2011. The response was so great in our community that she soon had to switch to being open on a full time basis. Dr. Bhasin became a TMS certified and trained provider in 2013 to be able to offer a different treatment option for her patients. Since then, the practice has grown to be one of the largest psychiatric resources in our area, with 7 different providers, including three nurse practitioners and three therapists.
